Cabrillo College Linux Classes

The Cabrillo network has been down for hours. I'm going to try and build an alternate practice test system for CIS 90 students outside of Cabrillo.

Thank you Rich! It seems like the fates are conspiring against me for this test! I can't seem to get a moment to study or get any of the longer/more difficult commands engraved in my brain. Let's hope everything is fixed so I can spend the better part of tomorrow studying.

I modified son-of-opus to serve as a practice test system. You can use it now as an alternative to sun-hwa-p2.cis.cabrillo.edu.

From Windows Putty:

From Mac terminal:
[list][*][b]ssh -p 2220 [i]<username>[/i]@son-of-opus.simms-teach.com[/b][/*:m][/list:u]
Let me know if you run into any problems. I'm testing it now and it seems to work. I had to modify Q29 and Q31 slightly so they would work correctly.

It appears the Cabrillo network issues have been fixed. I can access both Blackboard and Opus from outside of campus

I'll keep these alternate systems in place just in case!
