Lost Lab?

Postby janet tuma on Wed Jun 03, 2009 9:20 am

I submitted the lab last night, but can't find it today in /home/rsimms/cis90 like I would have seen a lab I submitted (until midnight of the due date). Did I do something wrong? Also, I have some notes here that I took reminding me to be sure my permissions were correct for the script, my bin directory, and my home directory....but I didn't put anything in my bin directory regarding the extra credit lab, I put everything in the directory we were asked to create called 'review'. Hmmm, I'm going to go back and see what the bin permissions are  such a mystery :!:

/home/cis90/bin $ ls -ld
drwxr-x--- 2 rsimms cis90 4096 May 28 11:57

/home/cis90/tumajan/bin $ ls -ld
drwxr-xr-x 3 tumajan cis90 4096 May 28 18:29 .
/home/cis90/tumajan/bin $

/bin $ ls -ld
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Jun 17 2008 AND, last but not least:

/home/cis90/tumajan $ ls -ld review
drwxr-xr-x 2 tumajan cis90 4096 Jun 2 23:38 review

Anybody in cis90 should be able to read and execute.... guess if anybody gets back on the forum on this very last day and takes the time to run my script and then let me know if it worked...then I'll know ;)

I already snatched it!

Got up really early this morning to get a head start on grading ... I put the graded version back in your home directory.
