Remember this quiz will start at 5:30 sharp and not last more than a minute or two.

1) Where in the file directory tree is the kernel and how do you recognize it?
[b]/boot[/b] directory, the file whose name starts with "vmlinu"

2) In a long listing (ls –l) what code letter is used for a symbolic link?
[b] l[/b] (for link)

3) What command and option shows how the drives are partitioned?
[b]fdisk -l[/b] (the l is the list option)
